APR 27 PURCELLVILLE SPRING CONCERT - AMERICANA
In their spring concert the Loudoun Chorale will celebrate the eclectic and glorious American choral tradition. The concert will be composed of pieces by many composers who each bring a different perspective and voice to the American choral repertoire. The concert begins with the folk tune arrangements of Aaron Copland and Alice Parker and then moves to the illuminating African American Spiritual arrangements of Moses Hogan. And of course what program of American music would be complete without the sounds of vocal jazz and the passionate music of Leonard Bernstein? You don’t want to miss this poignant and powerful program of music.
Tickets are $15.00 online and $20.00 at the door; children 12 and under are admitted for free. The performance is scheduled for Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 7:00 PM at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church located at 711 W Main St, Purcellville, VA 20132.
