As we look ahead to our new semester, we invite you to join us! Our Spring 2025 program is "1791 Mozart's Requiem" - see our Season Announcement Video for a taste of the music.
We are open through January 2025 for singer sign-up - please register and pay dues/request scholarship (two-step process for both new AND returning singers) HERE.
At the bottom of the Info/Enroll page, you'll see our FAQs and Spring 2025 schedule but feel free to email us at info@loudounchorale.org with any questions. We are a community group; no audition is required, and we have scholarships for those who need dues assistance. The Chorale is paying for music again this semester.
Our first rehearsal will be Sunday, January 5, 2025, at 6pm in the Sanctuary at Leesburg Community Church. Please come early to your first rehearsal to check in, verify COVID vaccination if you're new to the group, and pick up music.
So that you can mark your calendars, our concerts will be April 26 and 27, 2025.
We are excited to continue this fantastic season! This program will lead to a significant and highly anticipated performance in the life of the Loudoun Chorale. In the final days of 1791, Mozart passed away at the age of 35, concluding one of the most prolific years of his life. His untimely death left us with the magnificent, mysterious, and unfinished setting of the Requiem Mass—a composition that honors the musical past while propelling the art form into the future. In late April 2025, the Loudoun Chorale will perform Mozart’s Requiem in its entirety, accompanied by chamber orchestra. Additionally, we will present lesser-known works that illuminate the monumental final year of Mozart’s life.

FALL 2024 CONCERT
Our winter program, titled “A Choral Kaleidoscope,” promises to be an enchanting journey through a diverse array of musical genres, styles, and cultures. You will be immersed in this rich musical tapestry, featuring newly composed works by Elaine Hagenberg, Shawn Kirchner, and Eric Whitacre.
Our repertoire will also include vibrant arrangements of classics such as Bob Dylan’s “The Times They Are a-Changin’” and “This Little Light of Mine.” In addition, we will present imaginative reinterpretations of beloved Christmas songs like “Go Tell It on the Mountain” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.”
Just as a kaleidoscope creates ever-changing patterns of colors, shapes, and sequences, our program aims to captivate and delight through the transformative power of music. Don't miss this unique and inspiring experience!
For special requests or questions, please email us at info@loudounchorale.org.
Looking ahead, mark your calendars for our Spring 2025 performances - April 26 and 27, 2025!
