2025 - 2026 SEASON ANNOUNCEMENT
Winter Concert - Glorias Large and Small
Join us for Glorias Large and Small, an evening of choral music that explores the many musical expressions of joy—grand and intimate, exuberant and reflective. At the heart of the program is John Rutter’s thrilling Gloria, performed with full brass ensemble and percussion, a jubilant and resounding celebration of the season.
Balancing the brilliance of Rutter’s work, the program features soulful, evocative pieces by Rosephanye Powell and Abbie Betinis, whose music brings a nuanced sense of joy to the season’s reflections. Beloved carols of the season, both familiar and fresh, complete the program, inviting us all to share in the warmth and wonder of the holidays.
From bold fanfares to quiet, heartfelt melodies, Glorias Large and Small is a joyful exploration of the music that lifts our spirits and connects us in celebration.
Spring Concert - Vespers
Join us for Vespers, a luminous evening of choral music that explores the timeless beauty of evening prayer through the ages. Anchored by the brilliant Dixit Dominus by Handel—an exuberant, virtuosic setting for choir and strings—the program weaves together ancient chant by Hildegard von Bingen, the intricate polyphony of Thomas Tallis, and the serene lyricism of Fauré’s Cantique de Jean Racine.
From the bold energy of Handel to the ethereal lines of Hildegard and the tranquil devotion of Fauré, Vespers offers a moving reflection on the enduring power of sacred music. Let this evening of music uplift your spirit and provide a space for contemplation, connection, and joy.
