Anchored by the brilliant Dixit Dominus by Handel—an exuberant, virtuosic setting for choir and strings—the program weaves together ancient chant by Hildegard von Bingen, the intricate polyphony of Thomas Tallis, and the serene lyricism of Fauré’s Cantique de Jean Racine.
